At the age of 14, I was allowed to get my own dog, a Smooth Fox Terrier. I have been involved with this breed since 1981 and continue to work with them today, now alongside Wire Fox Terriers.
Other breeds I actively breed include the Bouvier des Flandres and the American Toy Fox Terrier. For a time, I also worked with another terrier breed, the Kerry Blue Terrier. JUDGING AT TRIOCACIB
1.12.2024 –Bílý švýcarský ovčák, Welsh Corgi Cardigan a Welsh Corgi Pembroke
I live near Plzeň, so my connection to the only breed native to this region, the Chodský Pes, was likely destined. Breeding has been a lifelong passion for me and a multi-generational tradition in my family. I have been breeding Chodský Pes for over twenty years under my kennel name, z Letinské kovárny. My offspring can be found all across Europe.
For many years, I have served on the committee of the Chodský Pes Friends Club, where I currently hold the position of Vice President and am responsible for exhibitions. I am also a breeding advisor for the western Bohemia region. In 2016, I was the main organizer of the first European Exhibition for the Chodský Pes, which hosted nearly 300 dogs. In 2022, we followed up with the World Exhibition for the breed, with almost 450 participants.
In recent years, I have been heavily involved in the process of gaining FCI recognition for the Chodský Pes. I am a member of the Exhibition Commission of the ČMKU (Czech-Moravian Cynological Union) and an international exterior judge for nearly half of the breeds in FCI Group I.
I thoroughly enjoy judging and strive to live by my motto: a good judge should be a valuable helper to breeders, providing guidance through their evaluations to support their breeding efforts. I am expanding my qualifications within FCI Group I, which includes herding and pastoral breeds, as they are particularly close to my heart.
Judging at this exhibition is a great honor for me.
A native of Malaga, I was born in 1962, I studied at the School of Business Studies and I am currently an Official of the Andalusian Health Service and a photographer.
Involved in the world of dogs from a very early age, my first specimen was an Irish Red Setter and over the years other specimens came, eventually having German Shepherds and a German Doge at home. With my wife Miriam Villalta I started in the world of shows in 1984 with our first dog, a Saint Bernard. But it would not be until 1986 when fate made it so that, at Christmas of that year during a trip to the US, some Siberian Husky puppies that we imported to Spain crossed into our lives. Those dogs were the seed of what would germinate over time in our work with the Siberians. We registered our kennel with the name Mainake (name of the first Phoenician settlement in Malaga). We would continue our work with the Siberians with the incorporation of blood from North American lines into the breeding facility.
The Husky has been a breed that has given us a lot of satisfaction both at home and in the ring, obtaining more than 30 champion titles between Spain, Gibraltar, Portugal, Bulgaria and International. Without overlooking the groups, RBIS and BIS, as well as dozens of BIS in class pairs and breeding groups. In 2012 we would incorporate the Whippet breed into Mainake, which has given us immense satisfaction as our huskies, both at home and in exhibitions, obtaining several champions bred in our kennel. Parallel to the activity in the ring, we have practiced the sport of mushing for more than ten years with our team of huskies, organizing races in Malaga and participating in the first race with dogs in Sierra Nevada.
I have been a judge of the RSCE since 2000 and an international judge of the FCI since 2008. I am currently a Breed Judge of Group 2 Spanish Mastin, the complete Group 5, a specialist judge in the Siberian Husky, Burgos Retriever, Pointer, Irish Red Setter and Gordon Setter in Group 7 Spanish Water Dog in Group 8 and the complete, Group 10. I have acted as a judge in various countries such as Poland, Russia, Sweden, the Czech Republic, Gibraltar, Estonia and Italy as well as in Monographs of the Spanish Nordic Dog Club, Monograph of Nordics in San Petersburg, Monographs of Podenco Andaluz, Monograph competitions of native breeds in Tenerife, Monographs of Spanish Water Dogs, Monograph Nordic Sledge Dogs Club in Poland ,in special.
In 2021 I was invited by the RSCE to participate in the Spanish Breed Training Conference for RSCE judges, in which I taught the Andalusian Podenco. And this year 2023, on September 16 in Ondara Alicante and on the occasion of the National Dog Show of Spanish Breeds, participate in the round of conferences on Spanish breeds by giving a presentation on the Present and future of the Andalusian Podenco I have been a member of the CEPN, the AETTP, the International Club of the Siberian Husky and the SHCA (Siberian Husky Club of America) and I am currently a SCCS member and member of the Sociedad Canina Costa del Sol and a member of the RSCE (Royal Canine Society of Spain ).
Within another facet related to the world of dogs, in 1991 I would begin my work in specialized media, from then until today I have been working as a photographer and editor for very different media. My works have been published in various magazines and in different countries in Magazines such as El Mundo del Perro, Todo Perros, Dog World (United Kingdom), Guau, La Revista del Perro, Dogs & Driver (Alaska), Perros de Hoy, Nuestros Perros , Diario Málaga, Dogs In Review (USA), Dog World Magazine (USA), CObAKA (Russia), Trofeo Caza, Siberian Quarterly (USA), Hot Dog (Russia), BOB (Chile) and Oz Dog News (Australia). I have also collaborated in the editing of books such as: El Libro del Siberian Husky, by Filippo Cattaneo, A New Owner's Guide to Siberian Husky, by Kathleen Kanzler and Husky Siberiano, by Tikal.
I started my latest project with enthusiasm in 2015, with the creation of the dog magazine in digital format “Cynologies”, of which I will direct, produce and edit content until 2021. Currently the camera continues to be part of my life. whether in my studio or being part of my luggage wherever I go taking images of dogs. Spanish Breeds, Mandatory point of the Spanish championship of the RSCE of Autumn, in the Talavera International and monographs of Alaskan Malamutes in the Czech Republic among others and finally I had the great honor of judging the Siberian Huskies, RSCE Winner and CAC Specialty breed at the WDS Madrid 2022.
At the end of 2022, together with my partner I had the opportunity to judge the National Monograph of the Ratonero Bodeguero Andaluz on the occasion of its 25th anniversary.
Dogs have been my passion for 35 years. Throughout this time, Belgian Shepherds have been a constant in my life, and for a shorter period, I also owned a Border Collie and Havanese. I have always strived to deepen my knowledge about my breed, exhibiting dogs in many countries worldwide and attending the most important events for the breed. I became a judge for Belgian Shepherds in 2005, and in 2012, I expanded my qualifications to include Australian Shepherds and Schipperkes, which are also very dear to me. I primarily judge club and specialty shows around the world, including overseas. It has been a great honor to repeatedly judge World Belgian Shepherd Shows, club shows in the breed's country of origin, and the most significant event for our breed, the Nationale d’Elevage in France. When judging, I place great emphasis on correct breed type, structure, and movement.
My adventure with purebred dogs started in 2002 in the Polish Kennel Club Branch in Czestochowa.
From the very beginning I’ve been breeding Golden Retrievers, however throughout my journey I also had numbers of Labrador Retrievers, Beagles and Bernese Mountain Dogs.
In 2004 I became a breeder with my own kennel name Adekatos Poland.
So far I bred over 100 champions. Moreover, dogs from my kennel have found loving families all over the world, among others in the USA, Norway, Germany, Austria, Italy, Great Britain, Belgium, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Canada, Sweden and Denmark.
My life as a dog show judge started in 2017. Today I am VI, VIII and X Group FCI judge.
From 2012 I am the President of the Polish Kennel Club Branch in Czestochowa. From 2021 I am also the President of Retriever Club in Poland and Vice President of Polish Kennel Club.
In my private life I am an accountant, owning my own private business. I am also the farm owner with over 100 horses of Wielkopolska breed.
I work in veterinary services, specifically in small animal practice. I have been involved with dogs and dog shows for a long time—first as a ring steward, then as an exhibitor, and since 1980 as a judge. I greatly enjoy judging Junior Handling, and I believe that the upcoming generation of dog enthusiasts is outstanding. Together with my husband, we bred Lakeland Terriers for 40 years. I have a deep love for dogs, regardless of breed, and I am increasingly fascinated by the relationship between humans and dogs.
My journey in cynology began in the mid-1970s with the German Mastiff (Great Dane).
I have bred over 60 litters, primarily of German Mastiffs, but also English Bulldogs and Chow Chows.
Over time, I became a judge, and since 2006, I have been qualified to judge all breeds.
I judge at all types of shows, both in the Czech Republic and abroad. I have been honored to judge at several World and European Dog Shows.
For nearly 20 years, I have served as the President of the German Mastiff Club. Since 2007, I have been the Vice President of the ČMKU (Czech-Moravian Cynological Union) and the Chairman of the Judges' Panel.
Currently, I dedicate myself entirely to cynology.
My motto is: "May cynology remain a hobby for everyone."
I have been involved in cynology since 1969, when I began breeding Saint Bernards and served as the long-term president of their breed club. I have been a judge since 1986 and have been qualified to judge all FCI breeds for 18 years. I have judged in almost every European country. I am the president of the cynological club Interdog Bohemia and have been organizing major international and national dog shows, as well as other cynological events hosted by the club, for 35 years.
At the age of 3 years my biggest aim was to possess a dog which I got as a present from my parents in 1973. It was a black Miniature Poodle. Two years later – in 1975 – we have bread our first litter. In 1987 I have taken over the kennel from my parents “Vom Karlseck”. In the following decades I have bread Toy- and Miniature Poodles in the colors black, brown and silver which I showed very successfully.
In 2010 we have bought a Miniature Schnauzer bitch in black and silver. Since 2012 I have bred them together with my wife Petra and our son Maximilian. Our Miniature Schnauzers have received numerous Champion titles since that time and have also absolved the PSK endurance test.
My judging career started in 2006 when I became expert judge for poodles. In 2013 I became VDH/PSK Expert Judge for Pinscher and Schnauzer breeds. In the following years, I also became Group Judge for the FCI-Groups 2, 5 and 9 as well as Expert Judge for 35 breeds.
It is a big honour for me to judge at the TrioCACIB Prague Expo Dog 2024.
